Apurva is a Portfolio Manager at Alitis Investment Counsel, with over 16 years of experience spanning Investment Management, Financial Services, Corporate Finance, and Management Consulting.
She excels at building strong, personal relationships with clients, whether through face-to-face meetings across Vancouver Island or virtually with clients across B.C. and beyond. Apurva takes great pride in simplifying complex financial concepts, ensuring her clients fully understand their investments. She is also passionate about sharing her expertise through blog writing and content creation.
Apurva was an integral part of Alitis’ investment management team, focusing on fixed-income research and due diligence. In March 2025 she transitioned to a full-time client-focused role where she remains dedicated to building strong relationships and exploring new opportunities to better serve clients.
Apurva holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategic Consulting from the Schulich School of Business at York University (2012) and is a CAIA and CIM charter holder.
Beyond her professional achievements, Apurva was a national-level swimmer and earned a bachelor’s degree in music from three different universities. Fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, and Marathi, she embraces a rich, multicultural background. Outside of work, Apurva enjoys hiking, kayaking, gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband, who is also her best friend.
