The Campbell River Hospital Foundation (“CRHF”) is a registered charity dedicated to raising funds to support the North Island Hospital Campbell River & District campus and Yucalta Lodge through equipment purchase, staff education and special projects that help enhance the service and treatment of patients and residents.
One of the major fundraising campaigns for the CRHF is their Annual Golf. Because You Care. Tournament, which was held on Saturday, September 10th. Alitis Investment Counsel was proud to be a Gold Sponsor at this event.
We were set up on Hole 7 at the beautiful Storey’s Creek Golf Club providing refreshing beverages and had a draw for a $100 Amazon gift card which was won by a lucky Steve S. This hole also had a $20,000 Hole in One prize which there were a few close shots, but no winner.

We also had a golfing twosome entered in the tournament, Thomas N. and Derek C. and their team ended the day with a respectable score of -12.
Since 1996, these tournaments have raised over $350,000 for the North Island Hospital. Proceeds from the golf tournament will support the purchase of vital medical equipment.

The Campbell River Hospital Foundation is a charity that we, as a company, take an active role in each year. We believe in helping the CRHF in their efforts to elevate the standard of care in Campbell River, as well as the rest of the North Island as the hospital touches the lives of ~56,000 people in the area.
