Alitis Investment Counsel Celebrates Milestone with Client Appreciation Event

On a beautiful evening at the iconic Maritime Heritage Centre, Alitis Investment Counsel marked a significant milestone—our 15th anniversary. The event was a heartfelt expression of appreciation for our clients, many of whom have been with the firm since the very beginning. It was an evening that perfectly embodied the values of Alitis: quality, team, engagement, and community, all while celebrating the relationships we’ve nurtured over the years.
The celebration was a perfect blend of elegance and enjoyment. Guests were greeted with a lively and festive atmosphere, enhanced by the stunning waterfront views, which included the sight of two cruise ships gracefully passing by.
A highlight of the evening was the interactive and fun addition of Hello Photobooth, which gave everyone the opportunity to commemorate the event with their own photo to take home. Whether posing with colleagues or sharing a laugh with old friends, the photobooth proved to be a hit.

As guests indulged in the evening, More Eatery provided an impressive array of appetizers and desserts that were as pleasing to the eye as they were to the palate. The culinary team curated a menu that showcased an enticing variety of flavors, from savory charcuterie boards to delectable finger foods. Each bite was crafted with care, offering something for every taste and preference.

Drinks were aplenty, with a well-stocked bar offering a variety of wines, beer, coolers, as well as non-alcoholic options to suit every taste. Bartending services were provided by the Comox Valley Kickers Rugby Club.

Alitis’ founder and Chairman of the Board, Cecil Baldry-White gave a heartfelt speech reflecting on the past 15 years. His words were a poignant reminder of how far Alitis has come, thanks to the trust and support of its clients. Following Cecil’s speech, Todd Blaseckie, CEO & Portfolio Manager, took the stage to speak about the future. He outlined Alitis’ vision for continued growth, innovation, and commitment to providing exceptional service, before raising his glass and leading a toast to Alitis’ next chapter.

Adding to the relaxed and festive atmosphere was the incredible live music provided by P Nut Gallery. Known for their eclectic mix of genres, P Nut Gallery brought the perfect vibe to the night with their seamless blend of classic hits and contemporary tunes. Their performance was the heartbeat of the celebration, filling the venue with an infectious energy. The dance floor became a popular spot, with many guests unable to resist the call of the music. P Nut Gallery ensured the night was filled with memorable musical moments.

Adding to the excitement of the evening were the highly anticipated draw prizes which included two curated baskets from Island Gift Baskets, in addition to Alitis YETIs and gift cards. As the evening came to a close, guests were treated to a delightful parting gift from Miss Lisa’s Cookie Cutouts. Each attendee received beautifully customized sugar cookies, meticulously decorated to reflect Alitis.

Looking back on the past 15 years, this celebration felt like a tribute not only to the hard work of the Alitis team but also to the strong relationships we’ve built with our clients. It was an evening filled with laughter, shared memories, and a collective appreciation for the journey we’ve taken together. As we toasted to this milestone, we were reminded of the many achievements we’ve celebrated along the way, and we look forward to many more in the future.
